JUMPING PILLOW
A new activity for
the Shelby/Mansfield KOA is a Giant Jumping
Pillow! Jumping…it might be a simple
activity, but on our giant jumping pillow, it’s
so much fun! The giant Jumping Pillow, air filled,
creates great enjoyment and is a wonderful exercise
for young and not so young. Kids stay happy and
entertained while jumping with their friends on
our colorful yellow inflatable pillow. And it’s
good exercise too!
LASER TAG
Time to get off the couch & experience
the hot new sport of laser tag! Popular with boys,
girls, men, women, grandmas & grandpas! Want
to upgrade from the video game experience? Looking
for a family party? Try the sport that brings families
& friends together.
Outdoor laser tag is a new, unique
sport, which brings excitement & enjoyment to
a wide range of customers.
Outdoor laser tag is simple. Each
player has a laser tag gun & sensors. Each player
tries to hit his opponent by shooting his gun at
the opponent's sensors. Sound simple? well, it can
stay that simple if you desire, especially for the
younger kids.
But, like any sport, one player always
becomes better than the others. Soon everyone is
trying to learn new tactics to keep up, and surpass.
Tactics give rise to strategies, and pretty soon
you'll have a real sport!
Li'l Orbits Mini Donut Machine
Fresh, hot mini-donuts have always
been a popular food item at carnivals, festivals,
fairs & and many other outdoor seasonal events.
Donut lovers can now get their fix at the Kafe.
The aroma will attract you, the action will fascinate
you & the great taste will bring you
back!
SWIMMING POOL
Open Memorial Day through
Labor Day
(conditions permitting)
Shelby/Mansfield KOA has a large heated
pool & a heated wading pool. The hot tub is
for 18 & older. Children under 14 must be accompanied
by an adult. Swim diapers must be worn by small
children. To ensure the safety of all our guests,
we ask that you follow our pool regulations. We
do not allow alcohol or smoking in the pool area,
and no diving is allowed.
Our pools are not staffed
with lifeguards. Swim at your own risk.
Other pool regulations are posted in the pool area.
DUTCH OVEN COOKING
No matter what kind of RV camping
you do - in a motorhome, travel trailer, 5th wheel,
or cabin, chances are you love to travel & love
to eat! Join us as we share with you our recipes
for Dutch Oven cooking. We've got plenty of recipes
to try so settle in & prepare to enjoy cookin'!
WINE & CHEESE TASTING
Enjoy wine & cheese tasting Saturday
nights at 9pm on the Lake Shelter Deck. Watch the
beautiful sunsets across the recreational lake with
the fountain spray creating a beautiful setting
for your enjoyment. No charge for this, but we do
accept donations for our KOA sponsored Care
Camps program.
GOLF CART RENTALS
An added feature is rental of electric
golf carts for our camping guests. They can be rented
for 4 or 8 hours, & reservations are suggested.
Note that they are for use by licensed drivers 21
years of age & over, and please drive them with
with the same courtesy as you would any other vehicle
on the grounds. There is a limited number of golf
carts available for rent so book early. A deposit
is required at the time of booking.
We do allow you to bring your personal
golf cart with the following provisions: All drivers
must be 18 years of age or older, and have a valid
driver's license on file in the store. Charge is
$5.00 per day. Proof of liability insurance must
be turned in to our office before using your golf
cart at the Shelby/Mansfield KOA. Visitors cannot
drive golf carts at any time.
MINE YOUR OWN GEMS
AT OUR "GEMSTONE" MINE!
Folks of all ages agree that the Wagon
Wheel Gem Mine is loads of fun! Whether you purchase
a bag or a sack you are sure to find a variety of
gem stones. Our gem rough material includes gems
like sapphire, amethyst, moonstone, emerald, garnet
& more. If you choose a bag you may also find
items like fossils, shark teeth, polished gem stones
& arrowheads. Bags are great for families or
groups to share. The mining sluice is open to the
public from April 26 to October 25th daily.
